Pretty simple really just crocheted a chain until it reached round the base of my pot & then got trebling…breaking the thread 1/2 way to leave a gap for the spout, decreased a few at the top, a bit of fancy picot edging & done & dusted.
The teal one I used a alternate rows of trebles & cluster stitches until I reached the top of the pot then continued with plain trebles to make the decreasing easier….
I am rather chuffed with my new additions and my teapots are too
Oh I am just LOVING that blue-y shade.
ReplyDeleteA pair of peachy perfect cosies! I love this pattern, have a made a couple like this before. Gorgeous colours!
ReplyDeleteI love your multi-colored teapot cozy. I'm a beginner in crocheting and have always had modern taste until I discovered crochet and now I love everything country, homely, cozy and old world, I would really love to make a cozy for a teapot like you have.
ReplyDeleteI've just finished crocheting an orange and turquoise cover for my partners ipad so that the screen won't break, as the last one's screen got crushed as he was packing a full suitcase for a trip to France.
Alan got teased about the colors of his ipad but now every one in the family wants cell phone covers crocheted. My mom's got a Tracfone LG800G smart phone, prepaid and has a large touch screen, it cost her $50 and I was surprised she only pays $7/month for service, she wants a pink and orange cover so her touch screen doesn't scratch.
Oh I'm having soo much fun crocheting, I'm addicted and I can't believe how much cheaper it is to make your own goodies than it is to buy the same thing in the shops.
Adorei, muito criativo, vou tentar faze-lo.
